Transfer Trimble ID to a Different User's Portal Profile

Follow these steps to transfer a user's Trimble ID to a different user with a matching Social Security Number.

You must be a system or security administrator to complete this task.
If a user's profile is linked to Trimble ID, they have a checkmark in the TID Linked column in User Access.
  1. In the portal, go to Admin > User Access.
  2. In the Module Bundle dropdown field, select User Setup under the General category.
  3. Find the name of the user in the grid and select gear icon > Transfer TID.
  4. Select the user you want to transfer the TID to.
    The user must have a matching Social Security Number.

The Trimble ID is unlinked from the original user and linked to the new user. In the original user's TID Linked column, you will no longer see a checkmark for that user.
