Subcontract change orders (SCOs)

After a change order is approved, you can create an SCO with the potential change order (PCO) items that affect the subcontractor.

The SCO includes a banner that displays:

  • Cost - Original contract: The original value of the contract.
  • Cost - Changes to date: The total applied cost from the previous SCOs for the contract.
  • Cost - This change: The total applied cost from the current SCO.
  • Cost - Contract to this CO: The original contract value plus the total applied cost from the previous SCOs and the current SCO.
  • Time - Original contract: The original substantial date of the contract.
  • Time - Changes to date: The total number of approved days from the previous SCOs for the contract.
  • Time - This change: The number of approved days from the current SCO.
  • Time - Contract to this CO: The original substantial date plus the total number of approved days from the previous SCOs and the current SCO.
Note: SCOs for the same contract automatically have consecutive sequence numbers. You can manage PCO items and edit approved days only for the SCO with the highest sequence number.
