Single Flag vs. Clusters

Icon Description

Single Clash Found

When only one clash is found in a certain area (based on the current camera position and zooming in 3D view), a single clash symbol is shown. In that case, here are the different options:

  • Clicking the clash symbol selects the associated clash in the clashes tab and the related objects in the 3D view.
  • Double clicking the clash opens the Clash Details Tab and fits the related objects to view.
  • Right clicking opens the context menu (Open), from which Clash Details Tab can be opened.

Many Clashes Found

If there are many clashes found in a certain area (based on the current camera position and zooming in 3D view), a cluster flag is shown.

This flag actually represents several clashes. This number indicates how many clashes are represented by that cluster flag. Selection states are the same as for single clash flags.

Cluster flags are updated while navigating, without interrupting the navigation.

In case of cluster flag, the different options are as follow:

  • Clicking a cluster will zoom in and split the cluster into several flags/cluster flags depending on the size of the cluster. All objects related to flash in the cluster are selected.
  • If several clashes are found exactly at the same place, clicking the symbol on 3D opens a list of clustered clashes. Clicking then one of the clashes in the list opens the related Clash Details Tab. Next can be seen the list that opens when clicking a cluster for which clashes are at the exact same place.
  • Double-click has the same effect as a single click.
  • Right click behavior is disabled for clusters.

Toggle Clash Visibility

You can control the Clash flag visibility by toggling this option from the left side toolbar. This will show or hide all clashes at once. Clashes are visible by default.
