What's New in Trimble Financials 2026 R2

The 2026 R2 release of Trimble Financials includes various product enhancements. This release is available as of July 30, 2026.

Closed Fiscal Period Dates in Guided Entry

Guided entry now blocks transaction dates that fall in a closed fiscal period. If you enter a closed-period date, an inline error appears and Next is disabled until you choose an open period date. This applies to any guided-entry workflow with a business or transaction date.

For more information, see Fiscal Periods.

Vendor and Customer Alias Updates

The Nickname field has been renamed to Vendor Alias on vendor records and Customer Alias on customer records.

Additionally, when you create a vendor or customer, the alias auto-fills from the Company Name and/or First Name and Last Name. You can override the value before saving. Alias only auto-fills when creating a vendor or customer, not when editing them.

For more information, see Create a Vendor and Create a Customer.

Discount Terms When Invoice Due Date Is Immediate

When Invoice Due Date is Immediate, Discount Terms (days) clears, is disabled, and is not required.

For more information, see Create a Job.
