Download and sync projects
Download a project to access records and files. Sync your project to ensure data consistency and facilitate collaboration.
Download projects
To access and view records and files, download a project. For download best practices, see Download best practices and Project card download messages.
Sync projects
When you're online, projects are synced with the database. Syncs automatically occur on initial entry to a project, and when you navigate to the home page, save a record, or close a drawing or specification. The latest sync time is displayed at the top of the project or record list view.
-
To sync the project list, select My Projects from the project menu. A list of projects that you have access to will display. To view project records or files for a specific project, select Download.
-
To manually sync project data, open a record or drawing list, then pull down the screen. The timestamp updates.
Project sync messages
On the My projects page, pull down the screen to perform a manual data sync. If you are online, a circular progress indicator displays beside a "Syncing my projects list [percentage complete]" message in the activity tracker.
The activity tracker and in-app messages indicate your connection and sync status.
