Accessing and Maintaining an Archive Database

Access archive databases to view read-only estimates, generate reports, and perform administrative folder maintenance to organize historical data.

B2W Estimate allows you to connect to an archive database in order to view read-only copies of the estimates that have been archived. Note that reports may be previewed and printed when viewing read-only estimates within an archive database.

When connecting to an estimate archive database, you will notice that the estimates are read-only. You may however perform basic organizational operations, such as creating, renaming, and deleting estimate folders in order to keep your archive as well-organized as possible.

  1. In the Tools menu, point to Security, then select Log On as a Different User.
  2. In the Database field, select Options.
  3. Select the desired archive database and select OK.
