Projects

To design routes in Quantm, you must create a project, specify a digital terrain model (DTM), and enter scenario data.

Data management

Data is arranged in a hierarchy, with some data depending on other data: you cannot enter B and C until you have defined A. In this section, a logical data entry sequence that ensures that everything is in place before you optimize alignments is carried out.

Jobs

When you have created a detailed scenario for optimization, you can use the optimizer in Quantm Desktop (Local processor) or use the optimizer in Quantm Pathfinder (Manual).

Results

Quantm writes the optimized alignments to a QAB file. All result files generated by a particular scenario are stored in a folder attached to the scenario, and appear in the Scenario Notes tab.
