Estimate Options - Cost Components, Trucking, Time Breakdowns page

Manage the trucking time breakdowns—such as Load Time, Dump Time, and Rest Stops—that are currently assigned to trucking components, set as default configurations, or created manually within the active estimate.

To navigate to this page of the dialog, select the Edit & Tools command tab and select Options > Estimate Options. Then select Cost Components> Trucking > Time Breakdowns.

The Estimate Options version of the Trucking, Time Breakdowns page stores a list of trucking time breakdown that are in use or have been added to or created in the current estimate. Some examples of trucking time breakdowns are Load Time, Dump Time, and Rest Stops.

Trucking time breakdowns can be added to your estimate on the fly as needed, either here in Estimate Options, or as you configure trucking components on the Estimate Detail tab.

Each trucking time breakdown listed in Estimate Options meets one or more of the following conditions:

  • The trucking time breakdown is associated with one or more trucking components in the current estimate.
  • The trucking time breakdown is referenced on the Trucking, General page in Estimate Options when you specify default trucking time breakdowns.
  • The trucking time breakdown has been created on the fly in Estimate Options.

Here in Estimate Options, you may create and delete estimate specific time breakdowns as follows:

Create a new trucking time breakdown

  1. Select New.
  2. Type a description for the new trucking time breakdown.
  3. Select OK.

Delete a trucking time breakdown

  1. Select the record selector for the trucking time breakdown you want to delete.
  2. Select Delete.
  3. Select OK to verify the deletion.

    B2W Estimate will not allow the deletion of a trucking time breakdown which is in use in the current estimate, or used as a default on the Cost Components, Trucking, General page in Estimate Options.

The settings on any page in Estimate Options reflect the properties or dictate the behavior of the current estimate only. Your global settings, that set the default properties and behavior of all new estimates you create, are stored on the corresponding page in the Options dialog.
