Options Dialog - Cost Components, Equipment, Burdens & Fuel Types page
Manage a customizable list of equipment burden and fuel types that can be established as default settings for equipment rate classes or assigned to specific equipment records.
To navigate to this section of the Options dialog, select the Edit & Tools tab, select Options (Options > Tools Options in the Estimate area), and open Cost Components > Equipment > Burdens & Fuel Types.
The Burdens & Fuel Types page stores a customizable list of your equipment burden and fuel types.
The burdens and fuel types that you create here may be used as defaults within an equipment rate class, or assigned to individual equipment records in Resources and estimates.
Create a new equipment burden
- Select New.
- Type a name for your equipment burden.
- Enter a new category, or select one from the dropdown.
Delete an equipment burden
- Select the record selector for the equipment burden you want to delete. You may also highlight multiple rows with a control-select or a shift-select.
- Select Delete.
- Select OK to verify the deletion.
B2W Estimate will not allow the deletion of an equipment burden which is currently used as an equipment rate class default, or associated with any equipment record in Resources.
Create a new fuel type
- Select New under your list of fuel types.
- Type the name of your fuel type.
- Select OK. Pricing for your new fuel types may be entered on the Cost Components, Equipment, General page in the Options dialog, or on the same page in Estimate Options to adjust fuel cost within an estimate.
Delete a fuel type
- Select the record selector to the left of the fuel type you want to delete. You may also highlight multiple rows with a control-select or a shift-select.
- Select Delete.
- Select OK to verify the deletion.
