Options Dialog - Cost Components, Labor, Burdens page

Manage a customizable list of labor burdens that can be established as default settings within labor rate classes or assigned to specific labor types and estimates.

To navigate to this section of the Options dialog, select the Edit & Tools tab, select Options (Options > Tools Options in the Estimate area), and open Cost Components > Labor > Burdens.

The Labor, Burdens page stores a customizable list of your labor burdens.

The burdens that you create here may be used as defaults within a labor rate class, or assigned to individual labor types in Resources and estimates.

  1. Create a new labor burden
    1. Select New.
    2. Type a name for your new labor burden.
    3. Type in or select a category.
    4. If the new burden is burdenable, place a checkmark in the Burdenable column.

  2. Delete a labor burden
    1. Select the record selector for the labor burden you want to delete.
    2. Select Delete.
    3. Select OK to verify the deletion.

    B2W Estimate will not allow the deletion of a labor burden which is currently in use as a rate class default, or associated with any labor type in Resources.
