Web-Based Online Help

B2W Estimate now hosts its help content online for browser access. Pressing F1 or accessing help within the application opens the topic on the Trimble Help portal instead of local help files.

API Enhancements

The Management Reporting API adds new endpoints to expand data retrieval from the Data Warehouse. Both the Estimate API and Management Reporting API now require only the database name in requests; the system handles server and connection string info server-side via appsettings.json.

Enhanced B2W Operations Export

The export framework from B2W Estimate to B2W Operations supports Client ID and Client Secret authentication. This allows estimators without a B2W Operational Suite license to export jobs using system-level credentials. A new Business Unit Override setting allows configuring the export with a destination Business Unit when exporting with these credentials.

Changes in Behavior

• Dropped support for Windows 10.
• Dropped support for SQL 2016.
• Removed the ability to send bid forms and RFQs via Fax.
• Estimate API v6.0 and Management Reporting API v2.0 configurations: server/instance no longer included in requests.
