Replace Efficiency Factor Dialog
The Replace Efficiency Factor dialog allows estimators to adjust production efficiency percentages for items, tasks, or WBS levels, directly impacting crew day and duration calculations throughout the estimate.
B2W Estimate's Replace Efficiency Factor feature allows you to change the efficiency factor for an Item, Task, or WBS Level in the tree view on the Estimate Detail tab.
Adjusting the efficiency factor scales the production rate of assigned crews. For example, an efficiency factor of 80% would increase the calculated crew days required to complete a task compared to a standard 100% efficiency rating.
Enabling Efficiency Factors
You can access this dialog only if the Use efficiency factors in crew days calculations option has been selected for the current estimate. To enable this feature:
- Navigate to the Estimate Detail tab.
- Select the Edit & Tools command tab and select Options > Tools Options or Estimate Options.
- Select Cost Components or Crews from the tree view.
- Select the Use efficiency factors in crew days calculations check box at the bottom of the page.
