What's new in Field View 2026 R6
The Field View R6 release delivers streamlined workflows for bulk user invitations, as well as an updated photo capture service.
Field View may experience temporary downtime outside of normal business hours for each region during the release. We work hard to ensure a smooth transition and are excited to bring you this new update.
As part of this release, Viewpoint Field View has been officially rebranded to Trimble Field View and its online documentation has been updated to match. Because page links have changed, please update or recreate any saved bookmarks to ensure they point to the latest help topics.
Enhanced user invitation and management
The latest updates enhance user invitation and management workflows with new features and improvements. Business user invitations support Notes and External Reference fields, which are editable at various stages.
The new Import Project User Invitations process introduces a streamlined, two-step workflow for bulk invitation management that includes a downloadable template, multi-step upload functionality, and integrated validation.
Enhanced photo capture service
An updated photo capture service outputs full-resolution 8MP JPEG files with detailed EXIF metadata, including GPS coordinates, timestamp, compass heading, and orientation.
Active Filter Chips
When using the search bar, active filters now display as chips on page for immediate visibility. Select a filter to remove it or select the Clear All option to instantly remove all active filters at once.
