Columns Manager Dialog
Use the Columns Manager to customize the B2W Estimate interface by selecting and ordering the columns that appear on screen.
The Columns Manager allows you to customize the way B2W Estimate looks. It helps you choose your favorite columns and specify the order in which those columns appear on screen.
The Columns Manager is available within many areas in B2W Estimate:
- All Listing tabs within Resources
- All Listing tabs within Item Databases
- The Item Listing tab
- The Item Pricing tab
- The Estimate Detail tab (for detail items or tasks)
- The Audit Trail tab
- The Open Estimate dialog
- The Item History Dialog
- The Vendor RFQ Detail page
- The Bid Listing tab
- The Bid Results Details tab
To open the Columns Manager dialog box, right-select a column header area and select Customize Columns.
Notes
- Column preferences are roaming user settings. B2W Estimate saves your column preferences at the end of your work sessions and restores them the next time you log in, even if you log from another workstation. Each user can set up their own unique column settings.
- There are seven views available on the Item Listing tab:
- Pay Items
- Pay Items, Tasks and Crews
- Pay Items and Cost Structure
- Indirect Items
- Indirect Items, Tasks and Crews
- Indirect Items and Cost Structure
- All Cost Components
- The columns that are available vary depending on which view is currently selected. Your column preferences for each view are stored independently, as roaming user settings.
